Chimneys repointed, re-leaded, capped or taken down.
Most Manchester terraces and semis have a chimney stack on the party wall, and most of them have not been touched in decades. Mortar washes out, bricks blow, flaunching cracks round the pots and the lead at the base lifts. Water gets in at every one of those points and shows up as damp on the chimney breast inside.
We repoint and rebuild stacks, renew the flaunching, replace pots and fit caps and cowls to disused flues, and replace the lead flashings, soakers and back gutters that seal the stack to the roof. If a chimney is no longer used and is causing trouble, we can take it down and roof over it neatly.
Minor chimney repairs can take a few hours. A full rebuild can take a few days. We plan the work around the weather, because mortar and lead are best done dry, and you get a written price before anything starts.

New roof in four days, start to finish
From 1st intial phone call to job being completed- 4 days. 1st day- Hughie came within hour after a very stressfull call to look at problem, take photos and discuss options with a genuine understanding of what needed to be done. 2nd day-Hughie came back to take drone footage which turned out to be worse for us both which im thankfull for as no one can deny photo evidence, discussed new plan of action then for the scaffolding to be erected. 3rd day- whole roof off, new roof on, all the while photos/drone footage took of whole process, communication through out, materials shown with indepth of why/where and what used for and where possible they like you to observe so no corners are cut and to prove their proud of their work. Cleaned up afterwards and inside gutters cleaned. 4th day-scaffolding down. Can not thank Hughie enough. Such a genuine company...observed his brother on another roof job through video call...another brother distrubuting flyers and even his dad in person checking in. NO PUSHY SALE TACTICS...NO LIES ( to many photos)...with NO BS!!!!!! Will 1000000000% be using this company again for other jobs and will be shouting their company name from the roof tops. Just so thankfull ive found a genuine honest company in Hughie xxRead it on Google

Before you book
Straight answers about your roof
How long does a chimney repair take?
It depends on the damage. Minor repairs can take a few hours; a full rebuild can take several days.
Are chimney repairs weather-dependent?
Some are. Mortar and flashing work can be affected by heavy rain or frost, so we plan the work to keep it safe and done right.
Do you do chimney inspections?
Yes. We survey the stack to find wear, damage and hazards before they become serious.
Is chimney repair covered by insurance?
Many policies cover storm or accidental damage to chimneys. Check your policy; we can provide photos and a written report if you need one.
